About Valencia
Learn Spanish in Valencia, the capital of the province of Valencia is a beautiful city at the Mediterranean coast. Valencia is one of the favourite destinations for international tourists, thanks to its mild weather, beautiful beaches, excellent food and its never ending life, during the day, but also at night. The modern part “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” is a unique example of modern architecture. Valencia is famous for its vibrant nightlife; in the city centre, the zones around the University and in summer at the beach and around the Port. Valencia is also opposite the Balearic islands and equidistant from the country's two major decision-taking centres: Madrid and Barcelona. It has grown rapidly along these last years. Nowadays Valencia is faster becoming an alternative to Barcelona and Madrid. Not only to learn Spanish, but also for business and tourism in general.

This growth is the result of the adaptation to time conserving its rich heritage along the pass of the years, and at the same time, it has become an economic and financial leader in Spain. This progress it is also the result of two big reasons, first, the construction of the amazing city of Arts and Sciences, which attracts about 4 million people every year, and second, the America's Cup, which took place by three moths in Valencia, during the year 2007.
